Man Killed at His Birthday Celebration in Westmoreland

A 33-year-old farmer was fatally shot just days before his birthday in Westmoreland. The incident took place in the Truro district of Frome, where the farmer, Leon Anglin, was hosting his pre-birthday celebration at a sports bar.
The police indicated that around 9:30 p.m. two men on a motorcycle drove up to the venue. One of the assailants entered the venue and started shooting. The shooter then quickly returned to the waiting motorcycle, and both suspects fled the scene.
According to Jamaica Observer, Anglin, also known as ‘Rusty,’ was subsequently found lying on his back in a pool of blood. Anglin, whose birthday is May 7, was pronounced dead after being taken to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital.
Additionally, another farmer at the venue was found with a gunshot wound to the shoulder, but he was hospitalized in stable condition
