Man Kills Police and Himself at HWT Police Station
As per reports, on Monday evening a policeman was arresting a businessman at the Half Way Tree Police Station in St. Andrew when things got deadly.
Multiple sources detail that the policeman, identified as Detective Sergeant Kevin Mayne got into an altercation with the businessman who has been identified as Deon Singh, the owner of Singh’s Motors Limited in St Andrew.
As Mayne struggled to arrest Singh, another police officer intervened to assist in the arrest. The businessman managed to disarm the other police officer and then shot Sergeant Mayne.
The businessman reportedly shot himself afterwards. As a result, both men died.

Further reports detail that Singh and his wife appeared before the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court on fraud-related charges, earlier in the day.
The matter is currently being investigated.
