Man Shot In His Face By Robbers In Half Way Tree, St. Andrew

Earlier today, a man was shot in the face by gunmen in Half Way Tree, St. Andrew outside of the Sagicor Bank at Tropical Plaza.

Reports are that the man had just left the bank with a bag containing an undisclosed sum of cash when he was approached by gunmen and robbed. They opened fire hitting him in the face and escaped on a motorbike.

The man was then rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The matter is now being investigated by crime scene investigators who are at the scene.

Sagicor Bank at the Tropical Bank location has announced closure until further notice.
