Mavado Mourns His Mother During The Christmas Holiday – See Photos

Dancehall artiste Mavado is lamenting the death of his mother during the Christmas holiday. With Christmas being a time for family, Mavado is reflecting on his mother, Elizabeth โMiss Pinnyโ Gordon.
The Blessed singer posted photos of his mother on Instagram before and after Christmas, expressing his sadness at her absence. Speaking about his despair of not having said goodbye to his mom, Mavado posted a picture of the two of them together.
Miss Pinny, who died on March 11, 2021, at a hospital in Kingston, could be seen in the picture receiving an embrace from Mavado, born David Brooks. The two were seated next to each other, staring into the camera. Mavado smiled with his hand wrapped around his mother’s neck while she held a handbag in her lap.
“I miss you and I love you forever mama it bring tears to my eyes every time when I think about you and how I never get to say goodbye it still feels like Iโm in a dream ๐ฉ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฏ,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
More than one week later, he returned to the social media platform, expressing how much he missed her on Christmas day. In this photo, he and his mother were standing as they shared another embrace. Mavado can be seen with shorter hair as he hugged his mom and posed for the photo.
“I miss you this Christmas mama and I love you always๐ I hope your having a wonderful time in heaven ๐,” he said in the caption.
Mavado, who had a close relationship with his mother, dedicated a song to her called Mama in 2017. The circumstances surrounding Miss Pinny’s death were not disclosed.
