Mavado Shares Preview to New Single With Jahshii Called “Tears” – See Video

The year 2023 seems to be one of collaborations for the dancehall Gully Gad, Mavado. The singer posted to his official Instagram account on Tuesday, giving his viewers a sneak peek at a single with dancehall artiste, Jashii.

While we have seen Mavado make some heartwarming posts involving his family recently, as he made a post on his page on Saturday commemorating the anniversary of his late mother’s passing and posted an image of his youngest child on Instagram approximately a week prior.

Mavado seems to have dubbed this year “the year of big collaborations” because his previous release with Dexta Daps and Jay-A has not even made it to a month before he’s hinting at another collaborative release with another famous artiste.

Furthermore, the “Cream of the Crop” singer made his debut in 2021, and since then he has shown no signs of stopping. In addition, apart from his stage name, Jahshii is more formally known as Mluleki Tafari Clarke.

While he may be young, Jahshii showed the music industry that age is just a number when he delivered a powerful performance at Rebel Salute 2023, which led to radio show host Mutabaruka taking the stage to honour him, and now he has seemingly taken his talents to the doorsteps of one of dancehall’s greatest, Mavado.

The short clip, posted by Mavado, shows both artistes in what seems to be the intro of a music video, with them harmonizing in the track. Movado was not the only one to post the new release, as Jashii posted it to his Instagram as well. Mavado’s post did not say much about the song; however, he did add the caption, “Tomorrow #NATO🔥” indicating that the song may be fully released on Wednesday.
