Mavado Shows Support to Vybz Kartel in London: “Yuh Soon come a BBC road”

Mavado performed in the UK for the first time in 15 years on July 20. However, While performing in London, Mavado faced several issues onstage, mainly having to deal with a crowded stage and production problems.
The show had a huge turnout and the crowd was very reactive to the many songs that Mavado performed, however, the Cassava Piece, St. Andrew native said, there were a lot of “bad vibes” at the show.
This got so bad that Mavado walked off the stage at one point. He later returned to the stage to perform more songs.
Saturday night Bounty Killer shared a clip from the performance, in the video, Mavado shows support for his longtime Dancehall rival Vybz Kartel. As the caption for the video, Bounty wrote, “Mavado did this in England earlier 🏴 Bands next time though son star bwoy thing sold out.”
In the video, Mavado stated, “Unuh know mi come from the street right, unuh know everything weh mi duh mi get a fight right, cah mi nah bow out and sell out to some people right… Mi just wah seh biggup Vybz Kartel cah mi know yuh soon come a bomboc**t road.”
After making his statement about Kartel, he deejayed lyrics from one of his breakout songs titled ‘Last Night‘.

The Jamaica Court of Appeal announced in June that their decision on whether Vybz Kartel and his co-accused will be retried will take place no later than July, hence a decision is expected by July 31.

At one point, Stefflon Don joined Mavado on stage and the two shared a hug.
