Heads High deejay Mr. Vegas has spoken out against Foota Hype after the sound system selector took credit for Dancehall newcomer Nigy Boy’s success and rise to stardom. During new live stream, Vegas expressed that it was the people who authorised Continent, and Rvssian had no choice but to include the track.
According to Mr. Vegas, Foota Hype is seeking credit for Nigy Boy’s newfound success because he expressed that his song Continent should be “authorised” by music producer Rvssian. Vegas rubbished Foota Hype’s claims that his voicing approval is what led to the song being included on the Dutty Money riddim.
“The first step to Nigy Boy’s success came from the people on social media [ … ] One ting me know seh stinking foot Foota, Rvssian a nuh idiot [ .. ] Rvssian would a neva see di people dem a gravitate like dat to a song and not release the song. Yuh nuh have nutting fi do wid it bredda [ … ] If Rvssian neva release Nigy Boy song di people dem kill him,” Mr. Vegas stated.
Vegas went on to criticise Foota Hype’s actions over the years, and what he said was his attempts to interfere with artiste’s careers. The deejay expressed that the selector continuously tries to ruin careers by slandering their names and accusing them of being homosexual.

Vegas recalled Foota Hype spreading rumours that Nigy Boy’s manager, Dr. Love, is gay and had declared that he would no longer play the young singer’s music, “Unuh jus fish up people name”. “Yah di Devil” Mr. Vegas stated multiple times.
“Suppose di people dem did tek on to weh yah seh bout di man manager. Would we be talking about the evolution of Nigy Boy right now? Memba seh yuh seh yuh nah play di man song if him nuh top mek Dr Love Manage him enuh.”
Vegas also shared that some selectors have been afraid of approaching Nigy Boy’s manager since the accusations.
“Selecta a try voice Nigy Boy and becaw yuh put it out de seh di man managa a b**ty man yuh know seh a mi di selecta dem link fi get Nigy Boy. Becaw di selecta a seh him nuh wah guh link di managa caw him nuh wah nuh body feel like seh him a link wid nuh shaky man,” Mr. Vegas said.
The artiste further stated that Dexta Daps, who has featured Nigy Boy in his performances, does not want credit, so why should Foota Hype? During the live stream, Vegas also described Foota Hype as a “devil” and went on to question who had made him the “gatekeeper fi Dancehall.”
