Nation Boss and His Musical Journey
Share
2021 reggae dancehall sensation Nation Boss did an interview on OnstageTv recently whereby he explained his journey and what music is like for him.
Just 2 weeks ago this young artiste was like any other upcoming artiste out there who are not getting much attention until he uploaded a video with a song on social media and it went viral. He saw that people were saying he needed to record it, in the comments on the post, and decided to give the new fans what they wanted plus more in the form of a visual.
Nation Boss is now in St Ann with his Mother and his family is happy about his success because they know about his struggles.
His parents named him Kushilo and he is now known as Nation Boss, a name he got from High School. He would normally record songs and post them on his whatsapp status and other social media pages however he sees himself as a music lover and not an artiste hence he did not go to studios much in the past to record.
The beat he did the 45 seconds clip on was just one he found on the internet, then Trouble Mekka reached out to him and he was someone he wanted to work with before so it was easy to make the decision to record the song at trouble Mekka’s studio.
Nation Boss talks of getting a lot of support and love from the industry players including TeeJay, Jada Kingdom, Lila Ike, Popcaan, Teflon and others. He explained to Winford WIllians that he is about love and loyalty and he appreciates their support.
Nation Boss regards himself as a great lyricist and states that imaging music comes easy for him.
Nowadays his exploding fan base is so big and that he can’t manage to keep track of what’s happening with that aspect of the support he is getting at this time.
