NBA Youngboy Details Being Rejected by Drake via Phone Call; Calls Drake “Enemy”

In a new mixtape aimed at some of the big hitters in the rap industry, NBA YoungBoy releases a 17-track project called Richest Opp shortly after releasing an album back in April consisting of 33 songs.
According to the lyrics of a particular song on the mixtape, F*ck The Industry Pt. 2, YoungBoy asked Canadian rapper Drake for a leg up via a musical collaboration during an unspecified face time interaction, and was rejected.
The understanding is that, Drake is close to another entertainer that YoungBoy has beef with, Lil Durk, hence Drizzy opted out of any collabs with Youngboy in order to stay away from all the drama.
In the song, the Dead Trollz artiste stated, “Talked to Drake ‘cross FaceTime, he wasn’t feelin’ me. Told me that he f*ck with Durk, damn, that shit gettin’ to me. Told me that he like the shit I’m doin’, but can’t do shit with me. So when we cross our ways, f*ck what you say, bitch, you my enemy.”
Drake and Lil Durk have collaborated before and the latter had publicly thanked the Hotline Bling artist for helping to boost his career after their Laugh Now Cry Later track hit number two on the Billboard Hot 100.
On the other hand, NBA Youngboy’s new project consists of 16 more tracks where he disses a host of other entertainers like Lil Durk, J. Cole, and Lil Yachty. The songs include, B*tch Let’s do It, I Heard, I Got That Sh*t, F*ck The Industry Pt. 2, Slimes Go Where I Go, What You Gonna Do, Perspective, I Got Qupid, I Want His Soul, and Channel 9, among others.
The mixtape was released on Friday, May 12, 2023.
