New Footage Shows The Moment Beryllium Security Officers Were Attacked in St. Thomas – Watch Video
Beryllium Security Officers have been at the center of several attacks in Jamaica since the start of 2023. Notably, the most recent attack on Saturday did not prove fruitful for the attackers who had to make their great escape without a dollar.
Despite several videos showing the aftermath of the incident, more videos surfaced late Saturday night of the attack in progress and the one minute fifty-five seconds long footage is filled with chaos.
The CCTV footage began with two officers standing at a door where they were greeted with gunfire that sent them running for their lives, the footage showed one of the officers returning fire as he ran, the footage also shows an officer being shot in the back. The eye-opening footage also shows the moment an officer throws away his gun while running for cover.
At the same time, several men can be seen with high-powered firearms letting off multiple shots in the direction of the security officers. A bag that was earlier dropped by a security officer was recovered by one of the attackers, the video shows a male with the black bag heading into a car with other cronies, two cars exited the scene with the shooters after the attack.
“No cash was lost,” according to the police.
