The Queen of Rap and Hip Hop, Nicki Minaj, has praised Skeng’s ‘Protocol’ single featuring Tommy Lee Sparta, by labelling the hot dancehall track as the “baddest” song to be released in many years.
Nicki Minaj first made her love clear for Skeng’s music several days ago when the Trinidadian rapper posted a video of herself on her Instagram page singing the Ratty Gang Don’s track ‘Street Cred’ word for word.
Now, the iconic rapper is again endorsing the dancehall artiste’s music as she made the statement under the music video on YouTube that has up to 23 million views, which surpassed ‘Gvnman Shift’ that has 22 million views.
Quoting Tommy Lee Sparta’s lines from the track, Nicki wrote, “Dem nah run dem blokk, When we pull up them affi run lef dat.”
After adding multiple fire emojis, she added a line from Skeng’s verse “PROTOCOL WE HAVE 100 STRAP” and then concluded with, “Baddest song to come out in years.”
Currently, Skeng is the second most viewed artiste on YouTube’s Music Charts & Insights locally, which is directly behind Chronic Law, who is number 1. Skeng also continues to trend with his top songs ‘Heaven Passport’ featuring Intence, ‘Street Cred’, ‘Life Changes’, and ‘Brrrp’.
