Nicki Minaj’s Husband asks Judge to allow him to be at the Baby’s Birth

Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty wants to be with her for the birth of their first child. This is a once-in-a-lifetime moment, and he doesn’t want to miss it because of his pending criminal case.

Petty submitted legal documents recently, as he begged the judge to modify the terms of his pretrial release conditions, because he wants to travel with his wife on business trips as her manager sometimes and he wants to be there when for the birth of their first child.

Kenneth was registered as a sex offender in California recently and he got arrested for allegedly failing to do what was needed when he moved to the state with Nicki. He didn’t abide by some of the terms for his pretrial release and now he has a curfew and his travel is restricted to California only.

Kenneth says the U.S. Attorney’s Office and pretrial services office won’t oppose his request, so now it’s up to the judge to sign off on it.

There are documents that stated that Kenneth wanted the judge to tweak his release conditions, so it would be possible for him to be by Nicki’s side just in case she gives birth outside his curfew hours.

Nicki announced her pregnancy early this month, and it is possible that she is at least 6 months pregnant. So the baby could be due quite soon.

However, Kenneth’s status as a sex offender stems from a New York conviction for first-degree attempted rape in 1995. He pled not guilty to failing to register as a sex offender, and a judge gave him permission recently to go online.
