Nicki Minaj’s Husband Placed Under House Arrest For Threatening Offset

As the apparent bad blood between rappers Nicki Minaj and Cardi B continues, Nicki’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been ordered to serve 120 days of home detention for threatening Cardi B’s husband and fellow rapper Offset.
Petty triggered controversy last week after he and two of his friends were seemingly preparing to gang up on Offset. Petty and his friends’ threats were captured in an incriminating video of their own making, and the men could be seen waiting on the street outside the reported hotel Offset was staying at in New York City.
During the video, Petty boldly stated, βPlan that vacation; you gonna be planning your funeral p**sy.β However, Offset, who was not at Petty’s location, seemingly brushed the threats off in a video shared on social media of him exiting a private jet.
Following the incident, a judge determined that Petty had violated the terms of his probation by making threatening remarks while in the company of someone with a criminal record. The 45-year-old was subsequently ordered by a judge to serve 120 days of home detention so his activities could be closely monitored.
Reports state that he may potentially have to wear an electronic GPS ankle bracelet to monitor his movements. Petty is currently serving three years of probation after failing to register as a sex offender in California after he was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in 1995.
