Nigy Boy Gave Thrilling Reggae Sumfest Performance – Watch Videos
After gracing the stage, dressed as an alien from ‘outa space’, Nigy Boy got a roar from the crowd when he pulled off his mask. He next kicked off his performance with a spiritual gospel song, putting the audience in a trance.
The gospel song was followed by multiple classical soul songs, hence he did not start his set with any of his written songs, never the less the crowd loved it, “can we talk for a minute, girl i want to know your name,” he sings at one point.
As he continued his space-themed performance, he said, “I can’t talk too much because i still haven’t learnt the human language.” However, not long after saying that, he gave a speech about his first experience at Reggae Sumfest “about 8 years ago,” with his mother, aunt and uncle.
“I remember sitting on the beach chairs,” he stated before dedicating a song to his mother who was watching his performance in the crowd. The Montego Bay native went on to put on a memorable performance on Night 2 of Reggae Sumfest 2024, singing his hit songs.
Nigy was also awarded by the organisers of Reggae Sumfest and the City of Montego Bay.
