No New Covid-19 Cases recorded in Jamaica for a Second Day

For two consecutive days, Jamaica recorded no positive Coronavirus cases.

The Health and Wellness Ministry reported that the number of confirmed cases remained at 520 and there were 145 persons who recovered after they were infected with the virus.

The same Ministry also revealed that 14 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, and that represented the largest number of patients to recover and they were released from isolation in the 24 hours.

It’s reported that there are now 366 active cases, however none of them are seriously ill, and the total number of samples tested to date is 8,828, of which 8234 were tested negative.    

The Ministry reported that Trelawny, St Elizabeth, Westmoreland, and Hanover, now have no active COVID-19 cases.
