Officer Dead After St. Thomas Shooting
An alleged robbery that took place in St. Thomas earlier today has left Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) member Mark Anthony Forsythe dead.

It was reported that at around 3:00 PM on Monday, February 13, 2023 in the Seaforth area of St. Thomas, law enforcement agent Forsythe was shot during an armed robbery. Though he was rushed to the nearest hospital, Forsythe was later proclaimed dead.
Specific details were not provided but the incident was confirmed by the JCF’s CCU (Corporate Communications Unit), and the Criminal Investigation Branch for St. Thomas is doing further investigating.
