Plumpy Boss’ Mother Speaks Out: “Bullet Lodged in his brain”

The mother of Trinidadian Dancehall artiste Plumpy Boss who is currently in ‘critical condition’ is pointing fingers at officials in St. Maarten, stating that her has not been getting the “proper help” he needs after being shot in the head on Sunday in St. Maarten.

Reports are that After being shot early Sunday morning, the deejay along with other members of his entourage were taken to the airport where they were picked up by an ambulance and taken to a hospital. Several persons were shot during the incident as per reports.

“Right now he’s in a medically induced coma because the bullet is lodged in his brain,” the mother reveals. She next sent a message to the leader of St. Maarten, “I would like the prime minister to wave the health care policy they have in St. Maarten,” said the distrait mother.

As per the mother, Plumpy Boss whose real name is Mescach Emmanuel needs “surgery”, but is being denied the health care he needs because he’s not a citizen of St. Maarten. She also called for the deejay to be returned to Trinidad where he will be able to get better help.

“At the end of the day my son doesn’t come St. Maarten to break nuh body house, to rob no body, to kill no body… he came to St. Maarten to entertain people,” She expressed.

On the heels of the incident, many people from St. Maarten are asking why the hardcore Dancehall artiste who was recently arrested and released on $350.000 (TT) bail was allowed into the country to perform.
