PM Holness Explains Why He Departed The Island On Tuesday To Visit USA

The leader of Jamaica, Hon. Andrew Holness updated the nation on Tuesday via social media about why he departed to the United States of America where he will be for several more days.

According to Holness, he’s off to a “working visit in Washington DC, United States.” Hon. Dr. Horace Chang is placed in charge of government affairs until the return of Holness.

He’s expected to return to Jamaica on April 3.

I departed the island this afternoon for a working visit in Washington DC, United States.

I return to the island on April 3, 2022.
