Police Accidentally Shoots Another Lawenforcer In August Town, St. Andrew

Law enforcement officers from the Specialized Operation Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF), were allegedly attacked by a mentally challenged man at approximately 5:30 a.m.
It is reported that the officers were in the Bottom Area community of August Town, St.Andrew when a man with a knife attacked a member of the team.
In an effort to thwart the attack, officers fired gunshots at the attacker. It was later revealed that the attacker and a police constable, both sustained gunshot injuries to the abdomen.
