As reported by Loop News, a female officer who was along the Llandovery main road in St. Ann decided to relieve herself in nearby bushes.
After carrying out the deed, minutes later the High Way Patrol police constable noticed that her service firearm which is a Glock pistol that had 17 rounds of ammunition inside was missing.
Subsequently, searches were carried out to recover the missing gun but those searches were not successful.
While on the verge of receiving serious disciplinary sanctions, luckily, the pistol was found by a concerned citizen who handed the pistol over to a JP who then handed it over to the police.
