Popcaan Once Again Detained In The UK

Popular Dancehall entertainer Popcaan was trying to leave the United Kingdom when he was detained by officials and given documents. He says that it is because the information sent by the Jamaican Government to the UK stated that he should be prevented from leaving.

A video with the information below was posted on the Jamaica Star’s Twitter account where Popcaan pleads with the Prime Minister to have the issue resolved which has happened once before.

#LatestNews: Popular dancehall DJ @PopcaanMusic says he is currently being detained in the United Kingdom because of information sent by Jamaica.

He is calling on Prime Minister Andrew Holness to aid in investigating the matter.

He was also detained in January 2022 because of information from Jamaica stating that the artiste is a “gang leader”. He, along with members of his party were held by immigration authorities as soon as they landed from Africa.

Fans are wondering why this is happening once more, one said “Loool I just bought a ticket for his Brighton show 😂😂😂😂”.
