Foota Hype raised a valid point about Jamaican artistes appearing on freaky songs with international female artistes but would not do the same for a Jamaican female artiste, Foota labels them as “sell-out”.
Foota Hype is currently unhappy with Popcaan singing on a freaky song with US female rapper Megan Thee Stallion who recently released a collab with the unruly boss titled “Intercourse” which is featured on her Good News Album.
Popcaan is the star of the song with his Jamaican gangster lover boy ways, however, Megan seemingly ‘bait up’ the St. Thomas artiste when she sings about her man treating her body like an oxtail meal and wanting him o put a hook in her bumper like a repo man.
According to Foota, Popcaan deserves a big “Y” for this move he made, the outspoken music selector also recalls Sizzla appearing on a song with Foxy Brown talking about rasta man being freaky.
In closing, Foota stated that if Spice, Shenseea, Macka or any other female artiste reach out to him to appear on a freaky song he should do it and not be a hypocrite.
It’s unclear whether or not Popcaan heard Megan’s freaky lyrics before adding his lyrics to the song however the Unruly Boss did not think twice about promoting the song on his social media page after the song was released and hearing the lyrics.
The song was produced by Mustard and is currently the number twelve most stream content on youtube in Jamaica.
The song is very sexual and dancehall fans are happy that the Unruly Boss got a major part in the song. one person commented “So proud of Popcaan and what he’s doing for our culture”.
SOME LYRICS “Gal yuh full a energy like dancehall concert”.
