Rumours are circulating in the media of a relationship between Popcaan and Vybz Kartel’s baby mother, Tanesha “Shorty” Johnson. Popcaan on Saturday, posted a birthday message to Vybz Kartel on Instagram, appearing unconcerned by the remarks.
Vybz Kartel, born January 7, 1976 turns 47 on Saturday, many players in the dancehall world took to social media to send him best wishes.
“More life and prosperity, sir Azim✊🏿 Appreciate everything, G. Stay up and keep the meditation sharp!! Freedom is all I wish for you. Blessings on Blessings,” stated the Unruly entertainer.
On a recent episode of the Tea Time podcast, hosted by Shelly-Ann Curran, several claims were made concerning Johnson, stating that she was kicked out of Vybz Kartel’s home. During the interview, a masked visitor claimed that Vybz Kartel was furious when he learned that Popcaan was having an affair with Shorty.
She added that Kartel allegedly kicked her out of his house and took the vehicle she was spotted driving.
Shorty then took to Instagram to insult Curran while claiming that she was not involved in the matter.
“S_ck yuh mada nasty gal. Aguh leave unuh to time. Mi nuh pass round inna circle, pick somebody else,” she posted.
Amidst the drama, the Unruly Boss is yet to respond to the accusations.
On the other hand, In anticipation of his highly anticipated album, he recently released the track “We Caa Done” via Drake’s OVO Record Label and the song “Next To Me” with Toni-Ann Singh.
The album, titled “Great is He,” will debut on January 27th, 2022.
