Popcaan Shades Valiant in Now-Deleted Instagram Post? – See Photo

There have long been rumours of a rift between dancehall artiste Popcaan and the former member of his Unruly Camp Valiant. A now-deleted post made on one of Popcaan’s social media pages has reignited those rumours, with some social media users viewing it as the Firm and Strong deejay’s attempt at throwing shade at the dancehall newcomer.

The post currently being discussed was made to Popcaan’s stories, and in the picture shared, the artiste can be seen surrounded by the members of his Unruly Camp, including Valiant.

The photo was taken during a 2020 Onstage interview with Winford Williams, who was introduced to the then members of Popcaan’s entertainment company. At the time, Valiant was introduced by Popcaan as a “bad, bad singer.”

Popcaan captioned the photograph, stating, “them have memory lost.” Some social media users are now accusing Popcaan of being jealous of Valiant’s success, which has led him to imply that the Dunce Cheque deejay had forgotten what he had done for him.

“But what did you do to the contribution of this man’s career? His way of thinking ain’t nice. The entertainment industry is big enough for all of them! This post shows that he’s bothered by this man’s success, even though he’s on a wider scale! Sad,” one Instagram user stated.

Another called out Popcaan for his previous treatment of Valiant on stage.

“After you style the man on stage in front of thousands of people, you want props. Man time fi you go hold a seat and mek the youth live life.”
