In his address to the Air Force Academy, US President Joe Biden made an unfortunate misstep. During his latest stumbling incident, the president tripped over what appeared to be a sandbag. After falling, Biden, who is 80 years old and is the country’s oldest serving president, was helped back onto his feet and seemed unhurt.
The president was able to walk off the stage and reclaim his seat, pointing out the sandbag as he did. It has been argued that Mr Biden is too old to run for a second term as president.
A majority of US voters are concerned about his advanced age, according to recent polls.

In the event that Biden is re-elected, he will be 82 years old at the beginning of his second term. His fall, together with prior stumbles from his bicycle and up the Air Force One stairs, could contribute to those concerns.
