Incarcerated American singer Robert Sylvester Kelly who is more commonly known as R. Kelly filed a lawsuit against the U.S. government, claiming that Prison workers leaked his personal info to vlogger Taska K.
According to Kelly in a newly released audio, a prison official who goes by the name “Officer A” took his information to one of his former girlfriends, including conversations between himself and his second girlfriend. This made his first/main girlfriend upset and testified against him in his trial, leading him to get a 31-year prison sentence for the case.
Kelly outlined that the leaked info was gathered from calls he made in 2019 while he was in custody in Chicago.
Amidst his bad health condition which includes blood clots in his leg, Kelly is appealing to the public to write the Department of Justice with regards to the investigation of Officer A and Tasha K because four years have passed and the law has not been fully implemented across the board in his case, hence similar will happen to other inmates if legal actions are not taken.
In the 13+ minutes long phonecall R. Kelly highlighted that he is not lying about the situation and detailed that a federal search warrant revealed that his “lovey-dovey” jail calls to his second girlfriend were illegally obtained by an employee of the Bureau of Prisons(officer A) who then leaked the personal information to the vlogger Tasha K who then shared the conversation with his now ex-girlfriend.
This prison interview/call was done on April 4th, 2023, however, was released to the public on Friday.
