Reggae Boy Bobby De Cordova-Reid is now the joint-top scorer at Fulham F.C. after assisting the English club in their victory over Bournemouth on Saturday.
Fulham confirmed De Cordova-Reid’s signing on loan from Cardiff City in August 2019. The move was made permanent in January 2020.
Over the course of his 29 appearances with Fulham this season, the footballer has secured five goals for the club, tying with Brazilian player Willian Borges da Silva as the club’s top scorer.
All five goals were made in Premier League matches, his latest during Fulham’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.
During Fulham’s dominant first half, De Cordova-Reid opened the scoring early for his team, netting their first goal in the 5th minute.
The thirty-one-year-old later assisted teammate Rodrigo Muniz to double the club’s lead in the 36th minute with a header.
A goal from Bournemouth’s Marcos Senesi in minute 50 could not prevent the club’s defeat, with Muniz securing his second goal in the 52nd minute.
De Cordova-Reid previously scored Fulham’s winning goal in their 2-1 win over Arsenal in the Premier League.
