Reggae Boyz Beaten by USA at National Stadium

The Reggae Boyz played against the United States in The CONCACAF Nations League which kicked off at 8 pm on Thursday inside the National Stadium in Kingston, the match ended 1-0 in favour of the visitors.

USA opened the score in the 5th minute after Christian Mate Pulisic played a through-ball to Ricardo Pepi who slotted the ball to the right of Blake in Jamaica’s goal.

Jamaica had a chance to level the match in the 13th minute after Nicholson was brought down by the USA goal keeper in the box. Gray’s penalty was saved by M. Turner in goal for America.

The first half ended 1-0 to the US.

While the USA had a good first half, the Jamaicans were on the front foot for most of the second half, threatening to score on several occasions.

Defender Mason Holgate got a second yellow in the 86th minute and was subsequently shown a red card, hence Jamaica played the remainder of the match with 10 men.

The match ended without another goal scoring.
