Reggae Girlz heads to France 2019 Women’s World Cup Football

Now that the Reggae Girlz have qualified for France 2019, there is more for their fans to learn about France 2019 Women’s World Cup Football and the other teams that have also qualified for the big event as well.
Twenty four teams will compete in the Women’s World cup Tournament at La Seine Musicale on Saturday June 7 to July 7 in Paris.

This will be the eighth edition of the Women’s World cup Tournament, and the Jamaican players are getting ready to win the cup. Even though the tournament is seen as the most competitive in Women World Cup tournament ever, as 52 matches will be played to determined which team will win. Matches will be played across 9 host cities.

The USA won the Women’s World Cup in 2015 and they are strong favorites this year, they even clinched an eighth regional title and no other country has won more than two.

Only 4 nations have won the tournament since it started in 199, Germany is a strong contender because they won twice. They took the cup at Rio 2016; but lost the “She Believes” cup and this has caused them to be a bit doubtful.

France will be playing on home soil and the male football team was the champion in 1998, they have a lot of support and this could cause them to win. They are ranked fourth in the world; this shows that they are a good team.’
The Japan, England and Brazil teams are quite impressive as well, you should expect them to do well.

The Jamaican Reggae Girlz has been supported by Cedella Marley through the Bob Marley foundation in recent years. Their coach has spoken about how grateful he is for the help the team has received.

After their funding was cut by the Jamaica Football Federation and Cedella decided to support them. They were not ranked by FIFA because of 3 years inactivity. They have qualified for the world cup because they have a strong belief in themselves as Jamaicans. This has caused them to be the first Women’s Football team to qualify for a position in the World Cup finals.

It is possible that the strong Jamaican ability to win, could take them to the top and you should never say they can’t win the cup, even though they don’t have as much experience as many of the other players.
