Rihanna Named Youngest Self-Made Billionaire In The World
Bajan singer, CEO and National Hero Robyn Rihanna Fenty has knocked Kim Kardashian down to second place after being named the youngest self-made female billionaire in the US. In her most recent appearance on Forbs list of the richest self-made American women, Rihanna was ranked 21 and at the age of 34, is the only person on the list under 40.
According to CNBC, the CEO’s 1.4 billion net worth is accumulated from the revenue she has earned from her music career and her retail companies: Fenty Skin, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. The singer owns half of Fenty Beauty and has a thirty percent stake in Savage X Fenty, a company that generated over half a billion in revenue in 2022.
Rihanna, who recently had her first child with her partner rapper A$ap Rocky, started a philanthropy fund called The Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012 and raised $60 million for women and children affected by AIDS/HIV through sales from the singer’s lipstick line with MAC Cosmetics. . The singer later said in a 2019 interview with New York Times’ T Magazine, that she never planned on making a fortune and she is always thinking of how she can help others because the world has a way of making you forget what is truly important.
