Sean Kingston Remains in Lockup; Agrees to Florida Extradition

With reported 10 charges and over one million in fraud allegations looming over his head, it is unclear what the near future holds for Jamaican-American singer Sean Kingston. As per the latest reports, on Tuesday, May 28, Kingston waived his right to fight extradition from California to Florida.
The Florida artiste remained in a Southern California jail on Tuesday evening after his court hearing, and it is unknown when he will be taken to Florida. However, it was noted that he will be transferred as soon as possible.
As reported by TMZ, Kingston is facing a total of 10 charges, the biggest charge being an alleged organized scheme to defraud several companies. On the other hand, Mama Kingston is facing a total of 8 charges.
Born to the name Kisean Paul Anderson, 34-year-old Sean Kingston and his mother, 61-year-old Janice Turner (who is more commonly known as Mama Kingston), are expected to answer to the many charges they received in a Florida court.
Notably, Mama Kingston is out on a $160,000 bond. She spent four days in lockup and was released on bail on Monday, May 27. On the other hand, Sean Kingston has spent almost a week (6 days) in lockup so far.

Their arrests took place last Thursday, May 23, 2024. On the heels of the arrests, Kingston via social media, stated, “People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother!.. my lawyers are handling everything as we speak.”
