Senior Citizen Kills Himself After Being Tested Positive For Covid-19
A senior citizen by the name of Festus Wright was admitted to the isolation ward at the Savannah Lamar general hospital under Covid-19 suspicions and reportedly committed suicide after being tested positive with the deadly virus.
According to the News, the elder, who resided in the Geneva district of Grange, Westmoreland, became distressed after hearing the news and was even seen talking to himself.
His body was, found hanging from a roof at the hospital.
One of the hospital workers said that he did not look sick, so there were no indications of suicide before he committed the act.
Superintendent Robert Gordon From Westmoreland said an investigation was made into the death so they, will be continuing the process to uncover what happened.
He also is encouraging people, especially the elders, and those who are most liable to catch the virus to follow the protocols.
