Shawn Storm Calls on “God” Ahead of Court Ruling: “Today i pray release me”

Ahead of the hearing in the court of appeals, which will decide if he is to be a free man or once again stand trial for murder, Shawn ‘Shawn Storm’ Campbell shared a hopeful message on Wednesday.

Shawn Storm and his co-accused, Andre St. John, Kahira Jones, and his mentor, Adidja ‘Vybz Kartel’ Palmer, were cleared of their murder convictions for the 2011 death of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams earlier this year.

Following the overturning of their convictions by the United Kingdom Privy Council, the men’s fate now lies in the hands of the Jamaica Court of Appeal.

Ahead of today’s hearing, the artiste took to social media to share a hopeful message on his Instagram Stories as he asked God for help to be free of Babylon.

“My God, if it is thy will today i pray release me out of the hands of Babylon. in Jesus christ name amen,” Shawn Storm wrote.

The hearing that will decide the artiste’s fate and that of his co-accused is scheduled for this afternoon.
