Jamaican star athlete Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce responds to Sha’Carri Richardson removing her wig before her most recent race.
Notably, 36-year-old Fraser-Pryce has poked fun at Richardson in the past, by mocking her while she was conducting a post-race interview after an unsuccessful.
However, last week, after removing her wig and tossing it on the track, Richardson won the 100-metre final at the U.S. Track and Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon in 10.82s.

After the race, Sha’Carri Richardson explained why she did the deed, “I wanted to show you guys that I’m still that girl, but I’m better. I’m still that girl, but I’m stronger. I’m still that girl, but I’m wiser… So, I had to shed the old, and present the new.”
Someone decided to take the matter to Twitter and asked “Shelly” what’s her plan, surprisingly Praser-Pryce replied to the comment, giving her two-cents on the matter as shown below:
“The only way I am removing a wig from my executive collection is if it flies mid stride and I am not planning on that happening ever!” she responded to a fan on Facebook.
