Shenseea Confirms Upcoming Music With Diddy
Shenseea has finally confirmed that she is working on an upcoming project with American rap legend Diddy who she was photographed with over a month ago in a studio. The pictures of Diddy and Shenseea stirred up speculation of there being an upcoming track from the pair, but the rumours were never addressed by either artiste until the “Lighter” singer made the announcement on the red carpet during her Billboard Awards debut in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
The announcement was made shortly after Shenseea informed Billboard’s reporter Tetris Kelly of her anxiety, to be a presenter at the awards and detailed her experience working alongside rapper Megan Thee Stallion on her single “Lick”.
When she was asked about the possibility of collaborating with Diddy, Shenseea, who was all smiles in a chrome gold two-piece that nestled into her curves, confirmed that they are “working on something”, but everyone would have to “stay tuned” because she preferred to show her work rather than speak of it.
In 2021, Shenseea’s manager Wassim ‘Sal’ Slaiby, who is a music executive, signed a management deal with the artiste. Slaiby also manages some top international artistes including Doja Cat, French Montana, Swedish House Mafia, Brandy, and Sabrina Claudio.
25-year-old Shenseea, who was modeling on the red carpet with her son, Rajeiro at her side, made her native country proud at the Billboard Awards and even gave Jamaica a shout out later that night when she switched into a No Sesso-designed fur gown as she presented on stage.
She presented the first-ever Pepsi Mic Drop Moment award to an indie rock band, Glass Animals, for their hit single “Heat weaves”.
