Many say there is no place like home and Shenseea seems to agree with this sentiment as she spends the holidays in her place of birth, Jamaica.

The Dancehall artiste shared with fans that she and her family were invited by Tarrus Riley to spend Christmas with him and she seemed to have a grand time at not only his residence but also at a local river attraction in St. Thomas.

Shenseea posted videos to both her Stories and Instagram page, taking others along with her for the experience. She tagged Jamaica as her location and captioned the post, “In my happy place 🌾 Happy Holidays 🐉.”

She posted scenes to her Stories from her stay at Tarrus Riley’s home where she greeted his dog, enjoyed Christmas dinner, drank soup, learned about the effects of cherry tree bark, and danced to music.

Along with her visit to her fellow collaborator’s home, Shenseea also took her followers along her journey to the St. Thomas Bath Fountain (which is a natural hot spring). We see where the Run Run singer enjoys being splashed with the water from the springs and then gets a sulpher clay rub from one of the ‘tour guides’ who usually assists visitors.

The person taking the video of the sulpher clay rub stated, “Yuh know how much man innah the country would a take your spot right now, no sah,” to which the man looked at the camera and smiled.

Other videos detailed Shenseea’s time at the river with her son and others, she can be heard expressing, “Nuh weh nuh betta than yaad.”
