The much-anticipated sequel to Skeng and Tommy Lee Sparta’s Protocol has finally hit streaming platforms today with complementary visuals. Within hours of its release, Protocol Part 2 has garnered over 100,000 views and praises from fans who feel that the two deejays met their expectations. The music video begins with the same rhythm as the first song and contains a written disclaimer informing viewers that the weapons shown are only props used for entertainment.
Incarcerated artiste Tommy Lee starts the intro and makes an appearance in the video, sitting on the street side, which is from an older video. Skeng follows in his lead on the intro with clips of him getting his “Sparta” tattoo shown. The song maintains the same grimy flow as the first single as Tommy Lee talks about killing witnesses and Skeng deejays about creating a murder scene.
“Love e badness, anyweh we gone. Still a chop e line cause a money talk. One phone call and yuh madda bawl. She get di sad news when she deh abroad, and affi see yuh body pan video call,” Tommy Lee deejayed laughing. The video features several men, many of whom are holding and firing guns. While Skeng talks about even the devil fearing the “Spain Town badness”, he adds, “Pop a pill, transform, fully insane and from yuh call badness yuh call mi middle name.”
