Skeng’s EP “Beast Of The ERA” Available on 4/11/2022

Only hours away from releasing his debut EP, Beast Of The Era, dancehall star Skeng has teased his fans with a snippet from the 12-track project. The venture, slated to hit streaming platforms at midnight, features a surprising collaboration with dancehall-turned-pop singer Shenseea, which he revealed only 24 hours ago. Following the release of his tracklist yesterday, Skeng returned with a short treat for his 292K followers, giving them a preview of what to expect.

“Gunman, differently we run the place and yuh nah fi contemplate, get shot violate and yuh meet yuh shallow grave. Wid di rifle a mi face, Spain Town inna mi waist, dem fi know, yow Rvssian mi wi knock it inna face,” he deejayed in the clip. The video brought his EP cover to life with animated effects as he continued singing in his usual aggressive tone.

He added, “No one pop, a two pop a headshot. Thug life thing, mi deh yah 2Pac.” Meanwhile, he announced that his EP would be released at midnight and tagged all the production teams he collaborated with to make the project possible.

Skeng’s mini album comes on the heels of his second collaboration with Tommy Lee Sparta in Protocol 2, which dropped two weeks ago. Tommy Lee, who clearly developed a strong brotherhood with Skeng, also promoted the EP on his Instagram account, indicating to his 889k followers that the moment they have been waiting for has finally arrived.
