Skillibeng Performs at Drake’s Birthday Party – Drake Pays Homage to Stone Love – Watch Video
Superstar rapper and singer Drake has professed his love for one of Jamaica’s major sound systems, Stone Love. The Canadian artiste paid homage to Stone Love, also known as Stone Love Movement, at his thirty-sixth birthday celebration at a hotspot in Miami called Sexy Fish. Stone Love was present at the star-studded event, treating the attendees to classic Jamaican songs and mixes.
They sent birthday wishes to the Hotline Bling artiste, who expressed his love for the sound system.
Drake recounted his memories of listening to a Stone Love mix, which he said was “one of the most important mixes” in his life and “one of the most important moments” of his life. “It changed my life, I listen to it every day of my life, I listen to it to calm me down, I listen to it to reflect. Stone Love the legendary sound, Big up,” He stated.
Stone Love shared a clip of Drake speaking on Instagram, where they told him “Nuff Respect” in the caption.
Stone Love is one of Jamaica’s most popular sound systems, famous for its exceptional sound quality and unique dubplates. Among the celebrities who were present at the event was Skillibeng, who performed his hit songs Crocodile Teeth and Whap Whap, which had the birthday boy, as well as the crowd, singing and dancing.
