On Friday, May 5, a small red plane carrying two passengers crashed in St. Mary, Jamaica, just after 11 AM, and hours later, Dancehall artiste Skillibeng releases a new track and says, “Di plane just crash wid e coke again.”

The song is a follow-up to the 2021 release of his song Coke which details a plane crash in Jamaica with narcotics that he allegedly sells.

Uploaded to YouTube a little over nine hours ago and entitled Coke “Part II”, Skilibeng sings, “Run e street like motorcade, make e most money, f**k e most gal, dem pu**y deh nuh know money. Mi four pocket stuff up, now mi nose stuffy…”

The timing of the release speculates that the song was inspired by the earlier plane crash in Unity, St. Mary. Carrying two individuals, the pilot and a passenger, the plane crashed head-first in a hilly area. The pilot succumbed to his wounds after reaching the hospital and the passenger is recovering with little injuries.

There is yet to be any information regarding the plane’s takeoff location or the destination to which it was flying. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
