Though her career may require her to travel internationally consistently as she continues to grow her brand, dancehall artiste Spice allocates time specifically for her children and attended Daughter Nicholatoy’s track and field meet on Thursday.
Spice, born Grace Hamilton, has devoted years to developing her dancehall career in the international music industry. The 40-year-old was officially crowned the Queen of Dancehall in 2022 at Jamaica’s famed music festival Reggae Sumfest and continues to amass a host of accomplishments.
Despite her intense schedule, which often finds her away from Jamaica, the single mother carves out time for her most important responsibilities: her son Nicholas Jr. and daughter Nicholatoy. Nicholatoy represented her school yesterday on day one of the Jamaica Independent School Association (JISA)/Little Caesars Preparatory School National Athletics Championships.

Spice surprised Nicholatoy before her race and shared some of the budding athlete’s time on the track and a photo of the 12-year-old with sprint legend Usain Bolt, noting that it was time to find her daughter a couch in the post’s caption.
Nicholatoy was congratulated in the comment section by former Miss World and Jamaican politician Lisa Hanna, as well as double Olympic sprint champion Elaine Thompson-Herah.
