Though she and Marion Hall, formerly Lady Saw, have been at odds for some time now, Spice, born Grace Hamilton, may be ready to put the past behind her and, in a video filmed by the artiste, was seen dancing to Hall’s song Man Is the Least.
After Hall bashed Spice and multiple other female artistes for their indecent dressing, music, and behaviours in January 2022, Spice hit back soon after in a scathing Instagram live stream sharing what had ended their decade-long friendship.
Spice recalled Hall, then Lady Saw, disrespecting her when Bounty Killer asked the veteran female artiste to introduce her on stage before her rise to fame, but she reportedly stated, “Who? Spice? Make Spice gwan stay inna rice.”
Spice said the pair eventually became friends, and Hall expressed that she was passing on the title of Queen of the Dancehall to the Jim Screechie singer. However, Hall took issue with her claiming the title afterwards. According to Spice, she had been saddled with a bad reputation because of Hall and later suggested that Hall had been the cause of her feud with Tanya Stephens.
After suffering a major medical emergency and going into septic shock last November, Spice has expressed her desire to start over. She recently mended the rift between her and fellow artiste D’Angel after sharing that she was thankful for her prayers during her illness.
Though she expressed that she was hesitant, Hall had prayed for Spice following reports of her falling ill. Spice may be ready to end the pair’s feud as she begins her new journey, and during a small get-together to celebrate her stylist’s, Rolan Banks, birthday, she danced and sang to Hall’s single Man Is the Least.
