Latest in the Spice versus Mr. Vegas faceoff, Spice claps back at the Bruk It Down musician who stated that she and Vybz Kartel led Dancehall astray with their raunchy lyrics and Spice’s embrace for the LGBT community.
In a post made on Wednesday, she points out that Mr. Vegas himself has embraced transgenders in the past. Spice shared a video of Vegas admitting in an interview that he called over and took pictures with men that were dressed like women, (transgenders).
He also mentioned that artistes do not pay attention to how others wish to live their lives, “we don’t let those things bother us,” he stated, before detailing that it is more a matter of if the Jamaican public will accept the LGBTQ community. Watch the video below:
Along with the video, Spice stated, “…Tag the artist so we can remind him incase he forgot that he loves Transgenders….Woooiieeeee the hypocrisy is beyond me….This is the same mam who is bashing me for loving my fans who’s from the LGBTQ community…”
Her reply is due to the fact that during her performance at Popcaan’s Unruly Fest in London, Spice had a male fan doing feminine dances onstage and Mr. Vegas criticized her for this on a Live stream saying that “Vybz Kartel and Spice destroy the fabric of Dancehall,” and also calling the Queen of Dancehall talentless and full of theatrics.
Spice seeks to remind the male entertainer that just as how he takes his fans as they are, so does she.
In response to the post, a fan of Spice wrote, “Lady wake wid vengeance. Vegas why yuh dweet??? Unu a guh learn fi leave dinlady alone coz she nah trouble unu,” to which Spice replied, “Not one a dem a don’t trouble.”
Dovey Magnum also commented on the post, “Oh wow I’ve never seen this interview before.”
