Spice Wants a Collab Song With a Marley “We need a Spice and a Marley”
Spice had a lot to say in her latest interview released on Monday, one of the topics she covered was her wanting to make a song with a Marley because she admires them. Despite being a dominant Dancehall artiste, she explains that she’s also keen on making Reggae music regardless of critics.
Spice pointed out that her spiritual 2023 release titled ‘Spice Marley‘ was her showing the world that she adores the Marleys.
She expressed that it was not an effort to ‘mock’ Rastafarians. In the interview done with The Fix, she did not mention which Marley she wanted to work with hence not putting a limit on the possibilities.
“Mi wah do a song wid a Marley this is me prophesying, listen, we need to see a Spice and a Marley,” said Spice, the name “Damian” in reference to Damian Robert Nesta “Jr. Gong” Marley was mentioned by the hosts to which Spice seemingly agreed.
Throughout that section of the interview, she repeated the words, “need a Spice and a Marley,” several times, and even declared that she was putting it out into the air for it to manifest.
“Unuh ago mek mi come out a music and nuh have a Spice and Marley name someweh together… mi want one Spice and Marley collab,” said Spice.
Right after making that statement, Spice doubled down on being her raunchy self in years to come, however, despite not planning to change her music anytime soon, she outlined that she will make “music” lead the way.
Spice details that the type of hit music she has influences her to put on raunchy performances and continue making what works for her in the past naming songs such as ‘So Mi Like It‘ and ‘Indicator‘.
