The Weeknd contributes $300k to Explosion Victims in Lebanon
The Weeknd pledged US $300,000 to victims who were affected in the recent blast that hit Beirut leaving dozens dead. The effort is being spearheaded by his manager, Wassim “Sal” Slaiby and his wife, Rima Fakih.
The money will be allotted to people who were injured in the blast, people who lost loved ones and people who were without a home after the blast destroyed their homes.
The Weeknd is the latest musician to donate to the recovery of Lebanon.
According to reports The Weeknd has donated over two million to various in need organizations since 2020.
