A photo of two of the greatest musical legends, Bob Marley and Tupac Shakur standing in unison has stirred a controversial discussion on the net, with persons alluding to the image looking as real as can be.

The photo in question, however, with the two posing as adults, has left many to wonder if they met before their passing. But, based on the birth date and the date they both died, the probability of them meeting in real life is quite low.

Bob Marley was 26 years Tupac’s senior before his death at the age of 36. He was born on February 6, 1945, while Tupac was born on June 16, 1971, and died at the age of 25. Based on the calculations, Tupac would have been 10 years of age when Marley died.

An additional point to note is that the Jamaican music icon’s professional career started in the 60s, while the American rapper started recording in the 80s. This would make a substantial difference between the two musician’s timelines.

Known as the “King of Reggae,” some of the hit singles from Bob Marley are ‘Jamming,’ ‘Redemption Song,’ and ‘Is This Love’. While Tupac is known for songs such as, ‘Hit Em Up,’ ‘All Eyez on Me,’ and ‘California Love.’
