Tommy Lee Sparta Freedom Still Uncertain

Dancehall News, While the dancehall community awaits the outcome of Tommy Lee Sparta’s most recent issue with the police his team states that the Jamaica Justice system is delaying justice by keeping Sparta deejay behind bars without a charge.

Tommy Lee’s IG page made a post 4 days ago stating “Delay of justice is injustice…. By Walter Savage Landor.. SET HIM FREE!!!”

We saw Dexta Daps being held recently by the police however he was freed just days after getting lockup, Tommy Lee on the other hand has remained behind bars for over three weeks now.

The police superintendent has noted that Tommy Lee is being held as a person of interest for questioning that may lead to information the police think is necessary to move forward.

The police stated however that the known Deejay was to give answers that might provide insight into the erupted violence in Flankers, Montego Bay.

The Deejay who is properly known as Leroy Russell has so far undergone questioning and is still awaiting future sessions, Earnest Smith the Attorney at Law representing the artist said.

Smith revealed that detectives were attacking the artiste with disparaging innuendo and a barrage of vague questions; but he is to head to court if his client was not charged or released.

The Lawyer revealed that the detectives had not pointed to him in the death of anyone individual and there was no conspiracy to murder allegations. They ask him if he was the leader of the Sparta Rifle gang.

According to his lawyer Earnest Smith, it might seem that the police have ulterior motives to punish the deejay.

Smith also spoke about the importance of every day in relation to a man’s life while explaining the point of unlawful detention.

Tommy Lee Sparta who recently sings about his fear for cops was very distraught to the extent of crying about the situation as well as previously Smith made it clear the realness of the frustration the Deejay is undergoing as it has been years since he moved out of Montego Bay and now his name is being called for something he is not involved with. 

While in lockup Tommy Lee Sparta was earlier rushed to the hospital for vomiting he was later discharged and remains in lockup. Tommy Lee Sparta’s attorney Ernest Smith vowed to make an oral application in order to file a habeas corpus before the St James Parish Court if his client was not released.

According to some online sources there might be a case against Tommy Lee Sparta and he should be worried for his freedom.

Tommy Lee Sparta was detained previously for Lottery scamming and shootings in the years 2014, 2015 and 2017.
