Tommy Lee to Spend Christmas Behind Bars

Dancehall artiste, Tommy Lee Sparta is in big trouble as he was charged on Tuesday for the possession of an illegal firearm with ammunition after a car that contained the Deejay was searched.

According to reports, the police searched for a Toyota Mark X vehicle, about 6 pm on Monday.


The deejay was said to be searched and an unlicensed firearm, containing ammunition was found in his waist.

The entertainer is also undergoing investigations with the counter-terrorism and organized crime unit, while he and the other men who were arrested are being kept behind bars for the holiday.

Tommy Lee will need to fight hard with this case, as he has been more than a familiar face to the Police.

For the case ahead he is being represented by Queen’s council, Tom Tavares Finson and Donahue Martin.

When asked about the proceedings, Martin said the way how Tommy Lee’s charge was published was not satisfactory, since there was no agreement from the team of lawyers for the charges to be tweeted.

Martin also said that Tommy Lee has been contacted about the matter, however, they are keeping silent on the matter for now.

The entertainer whose real name is Leroy Russell will have to spend his Christmas holidays incarcerated, until his court date on January 6th.

Just in July of this year, Tommy Lee Sparta had caught up in some trouble with the Police about the shooting but was freed after being in Jail for over three weeks.

Fellow dancehall artiste Laden was recently arrested and charged for a similar crime, Laden last month plead guilty and sentenced to 4 years in prison.

If found guilty Tommy Lee Sparta is expected to serve similar lime has Laden.
