Tony Matterhorn Advises Vybz Kartel: “Stay offa di internet and recuperate”
Veteran Dancehall selector Tony Matterhorn reacted to the now viral video of Vybz Kartel getting upset at his ‘wifey’ Sidem Öztürk on Isat Buchanan’s Context Matters show. “Something like that not supposed to come out,” Matterhorn declares in his live chat which was done on Friday.
During the TikTok stream on Thursday, Kartel said the following, “My girl how yuh deh yah a chat to man, wah mi box dung yo bloodc**t.” The statement has sparked conversations online and offline.
“Stay offa di internet and recuperate yo self… Kartel, be careful… Kartel understand yo likkle self… leave the internet to monsters like me,” says Tony Matterhorn as he advised the Portmore deejay to only take part in professional interviews that will not make such content go out to the public.
“You very intelligent but not versed with the internet and they will f**k you up… they will eat you alive and yuh not ready for this new era of war on the internet, they will hurt you… yuh affi know how fi articulate yuh self… that is the truth…. just bill.”
He went on to detail that he’s not trying to tell the 48-year-old how to live his life but the internet will hurt him if he continues down the same path.
In the videos that are now making rounds from the live chat, Matterhorn expresses his dislike for Kartel’s lead attorney, Isat Buchanan. “i don’t like the guys,” as he states that he thinks that the flamboyant layer is “too hype”.
