Tory Lanez says a Charge is ‘Not a Conviction’
Canadian singer/rapper Daystar Peterson more commonly known as Tory Lanez is upbeat about his future and reminds us that even though he was charged in the recently reported shooting of female rapper Megan Thee Stallion, that doesn’t mean that he actually did it.
Amidst the saga between Megan and Tory, fans have been supporting on both sides. Now Tory is giving thanks and praises to the fans that “stayed true” he went on to outline that “A charge is not a conviction” and that he “genuinely appreciate” the persons who supported both artistes. Tory wrote this shortly after the L.A. County D.A.’s Office charged him with one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, he was also charged on one count of carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle.
According to reports, Lanez could get over 22 years in prison if convicted for the charges currently laid against him.

The entire saga has been dramatic from day one, from having fun to when things got bloody and for the most part both artistes have told their sides of the story online before the court case even starts.
The “Say it” singer last week released a full album professing his innocence and that he still got love for Megan while on the other hand Thee Stallion spoke out and said Tory Lanez shot her after an argument started.
4 persons were in the car when the incident took place, the shooting was reported by someone in the community it took place which lead to the police stopping the vehicle the artistes were traveling in.
Megan earlier stated that she sustained an injury to her leg as a result of the gunshot Tory fired while they had an argument.
According to Lanez, he was offered bail and released because he is innocent which is contrary to what Megan Thee said about the shooting weeks ago, “Tory shot me” she said while explaining to fans what took place. Tory earlier expressed that he believes that persons are in Megan’s ears telling her to get him lock-up for the incident but he doesn’t believe that Megan wants that for him.
28-year-old Tory Lanez is currently out on a $1.1m bail. The case is expected to next appear in front of the court on October 13th.
